there will always be a ton of Poly recruits, especially elite ones, who simply aren't going to want to be at BYU? (let alone the ones who can't go academically either, just like any academic casualty).

Reality is that BYU isn't big time and we can't play fantasy land on that one. And, while he's telling you to ignore me, we both agree that he's a little confused as to what "misses" are. Which misconception brings us to the point he was trying to make that so many would definitely come to BYU. Correct? He's just wrong on both, simple as that. There will always be plenty of other schools with a bunch of Poly's, and schools without the rules and with big time football names. That right there is enough to make his idea a bit too much.

Please don't come after me with the "you're not Poly and we are" when your fellow guy here is the one who everyone is saying is just wrong, or at least way overplaying the influences he's trying to throw in there. You need to go through everyone else's posts now and tell them they are wrong as well, because they're not Poly. Fatty, mustard, shaka, byuheaven, etc etc etc. Heck, I don't think you necessarily agree with one of his points either.
