Ask the wealthy how many mutual funds they STARTED OUT WITH. 100% of the time, they will say 0. Ask then how many of them started in the stock market. You will get 0.

The base for all wealth is in hard assets. A list:

1- real estate
2- whole life insurance
3- Business
4- commodities

Buying term and investing the difference in mutual funds will leave you in the lower middle class for the rest of your life.

There is a reason the rich get richer...and it is because the middle class buy term and invest the difference because it is simple and does not take much thought. The rich are the ones selling issuing the term insurance and creating mutual funds. Not the ones buying them.
