name me one person that strategy has made rich?
one person? It does not work...never has never will...

call the people you know who are retired and well off and ask them how many started in mutual funds? Not one. And if they say they did, they are not well off.

Ask them why they don't live off of their 401(k).

The weatly buy hard assets. Not over inflated whims like the stock market will always be.

Here is your one problem. Math is not money and money is not math. You numbers guys like to think they are the same. They are not. Just like Oarnges are not Math and math is not oarnges. If you had 3 oarnges and I gave you 2, you would ahve 5. If we put those oarnges on a table, and waited for 30 years, how many oarnges would we have?

If you answered 5, it shows that you don't get the concept. you will have 0. Money, like oarngs is a commodity, it erodes, it becomes worthless. Your Mutual funds have more expenses inside of them then you will ever know.

I destroy mutual funds for a living. It is the path way to mediocrity. They are the biggest bag of crap you will ever put your money in. You have no idea what they are doing. more than 10 people have thier hand in your pocket when you buy a mutual fund. don't give me this return reward efficient frontier crap...you never can get on the curve with the amount of fees...you must have control of the asset... If you understood anything about whole life you would understand how related it is to Real Estate, the real investment.

in addition, if someone were to buy it for me, I would get all I could. BMW's cost more than the car you drive because they are simply better cars, not because they are rip offs...
