Yeah, no. Players are different than you think.
Loyalty is huge to players. Take losing your spot to injury. Fans think that it's logical if a guy comes in and is better, then he should play.
That's not how football players look at it. Baseball and basketball? Sure. Not football. Football players are super sensitive about things like this.
In the case of Taysom, the guy is the undisputed king of the team. Period. They follow him around like puppy dogs, INCLUDING tanner. He's the alpha. To bench taysom would be disasterous. It is what it is.
And no, I'm not just speculating on this stuff. Experience matters.
