Yes, we can calculate that he is currently 0-2 or 0% success rate on 40+ yard field goals so far this season, but that does not mean his CHANCE of hitting a 40+ yarder going forward is 0.
Chances, odds, etc = future
Statistics = quantitative data explaining PAST events
