Go back and watch the first half you love to reference. Here is a summary:
First drive: holding penalty killed the drive. Looks like Taysom may have vacated the pocket early on third and 12, but there was pressure on third and long. 3 and out.

Second drive: Taysom threw a decent deep ball, but should have put a little more on it. There was lots of pressure on 3rd and 7 and an incomplete pass. Ended the drive.

Third drive: Taysom has a great checkdown to Balderee that results in a big play putting us in the red zone. Then pressure on 1st & 10, incomplete pass. Then a phantom holding call that really set us back. Then Taysom throws a pretty good ball to Kurtz that gets broken up with good coverage. The ball could have been a little higher, but there was also no separation from Kurtz. Had he caught it, we get a TD. Field goal.

Fourth drive: false start on first down, no gain on 2nd down run, so we are 2nd and 15. Trinnamon drops a 10 yard pass that hits him in the chest. Taysom takes a sack on 3rd and 15. Drive ends with the well lamented fake punt.

Fifth drive: incomplete pass on tight coverage. Taysom gains 5 on a run. Taysom gains 7 on a run for a first down. Squally runs 2 times on the next two play for a total of four yards. Then Juergens can't bring in a tough catch that he gets two hands on. Punt.

6th drive: 2 yard loss from Squally on first down. On second down, Taysom checks down to Squally and throws him a pass with a little too much on it, but it hits Squally in both hands. On third down, Taysom gains 11 on a run. On fourth down, Taysom gains 2 to pick of a big first down. Squally then gains 3 on a run. Lots of pressure on second down and Taysom gets sacked. On third down, Taysom misses a pass to Moroni on the run when the pocket breaks down. Moroni was open on this one and it was a missed opportunity, but it may or may not have resulted in a first down even if complete (Moroni was not past the sticks). We go for it on fourth down and there is lots of pressure. Taysom throws off his back foot early and it is incomplete. Turnover on downs.

In summary, the offensive line didn't block well and got some critical penalties that killed drives. There were a couple of good runs, but it was inconsistent. The receivers dropped critical passes that hit them in the hands and were very catchable, especially in long distance situations where you need a completion. Taysom missed a couple of throws, but had to deal with pressure. He did good things with his feet and put the ball in good spots for the most part. Taysom was literally our best offensive weapon in the first half, even though the overall production wasn't great. Watch the game.
