Maybe the whole thing can be explained by the fact that Kalani et al. think that
Taysom is the best QB for this system, with this offense, and in this place.
Maybe it's that simple?
Taysom being close to transferring and them sticking with him because they don't want to go back on their word is a ridiculous claim. There was no guarantee that he'd be the starter. Why would there be a guarantee that he'd keep the job even if he stunk it up?
I think that the coaching staff is a whole lot smarter and have a whole lot more information than you do. You need to give them more credit (4th and 19 punt fake aside).
I think that Tanner is going to be great, but some of you have multiplied his greatness a hundred fold.
