In 1985 Bosco had a seperated shoulder
Love Bosco, and he played through a bunch of pain. However, the backup would have led us to victory against UTEP. Even with an epic defense, that loss was on Lavell for playing Bosco, instead of going with a backup and letting Robbie heal a bit.
Fans didn't know the inside info on his injury then, but it was clear he was not the same player. If the backup plays we beat the Miners 44-10 and no one bats an eye when Bosco comes back the next week.
