I think they may have promised him the position - and I would have as well
As a fan - I dream of being the coach. If I would have been the coach, I would have committed myself to doing whatever TH wanted. If he wanted to transfer, I would have cslled schools send stood by him on the day of the press conference, saying thank you for coming to the Y,
If he had not been denied so many games, if he had not been cut down so early in seasons where he showed stupendous promise and had led so well, I would not have committed to him the way our staff has.
But now - given the very extraordinary price and sacrifice he paid - I am giving him his senior year.
That's where I think KS is. It's very personal. We have suffered this year - but it in fact is the farewell tour. And I respect that decision very much.
