They would have left all of the olympic sports where they were if the MWC would have agreed. They didn't so BYU simply decided to move to the WAC. How is that dismantling the MWC? Of course, the MWC quickly moved to dismantle BYU's plans by announcing to the world that they had invited Nevada and Fresno State (even before the invitations were accepted!). And then you've got Hair Thompson stating that the Nevada and Fresno invites had nothing to do with BYU's announcement to go independent.
