IIRC, the MWC was **almost** a BCS conference.

If they would have stayed the course, they might have made it into a P6 conference. But the Pac-10 couldn't allow that to happen, so they grabbed the Yewties, and started the whole process. By that logic, it was Utah, not BYU, that screwed over the MWC.
