BYU would still be in for all but football if Hair and Co hadn't gone the trick
us back in route.
We used to be a little worse off in basketball, but much better off in football.
The MWC with all 3 losses is much, much, much worse off. A complete afterthought.
Could have been better for all if they weren't so stubborn and short-sighted.
At this point, I actually believe the WCC is a better basketball conference. Certainly at the top.

Wait.. So how was it that BYU "sought to dismantle the MWC". They just wanted to take their football team independent.
