You argued the first -- that in terms of winning percentage, Rose's last 10 years is better than any other coach at BYU.

The other reality is there is a lot more money involved now. Season ticket holders are paying about 4x what they were 10 years ago for only a handful of interesting matchups. Boosters and corporate donors have poured money into the program, including funding the new annex and the renovation of the Marriott Center's lower bowl. Rose has gotten some hefty raises in recent years. I am not calling for Rose to be fired. I think that would be ugly for the school and program. But there needs to be changes with the assistants. If next year results in another WCC 3rd place finish, I would expect Rose to retire.

My expectations this year were an NIT invite and watching young players off missions and redshirts come together and show promise and improvement as the season went along. I don't see much improvement in individual play or team play and missing the NIT would make things especially ugly around here.
