So what is the goal? I feel that many on here have unrealistic expectations.

Yes we should win the conference more than once ever 7 years. Yes we should have a few more wins in the post-season, especially in the last 4 or 5 seasons. I agree with all of that. But everyone needs to realize that things can be a lot worse. Having a down year with all freshman and sophomores and winning 20 games being a bad year is pretty good in my book.
