Of course the game is different. There is no perfect comparison. But the

fact that Rose has been more consistent than any other period of time can be stated as a fact. Not only was he more consistent, but he put together one of the best seasons in BYU basketball history. If BYU had won one more game and gone to the Elite 8, it may have gone down as the best season. There is something to be said about consistency.

Now, regular season wins is not everything, but it is a pretty good measurement of how well your team played that year.
