If I'm managing an organization and I delegate many/most of my duties and responsibilities to underlings I better darn well make sure that I get awesome underlings. Once upon a time he had awesome underlings. Other schools recognized their awesomeness and hired them away. I don't hear of opposing programs clamoring to hire away any more of Rose's assistant coaches.
