Auburn identified 64 different areas. Only one of those was 64 concessions. Of
concessions, drink options is only a part of the total package. I love my DP, but even if it were sold in the stadium I wouldn't buy because I'd prefer not to pay the excessive price. So, I'm not morally opposed to caffeine, and wouldn't be the least bit offended if BYU changed its policy. However, I think you're way overselling the point...I disagree that it will have any effect on attendance. In your post you mentioned a host of factors that likely play into a fence-sitting attendee's decision about whether or not to attend the game, all of which matter, and all of which matter much more than beverage selection. Do you really think that if someone doesn't want to sit in the snow, attend a game that starts at 8:00 pm, or thinks Portland State is going to be a boring game, is going to decide to attend if they can buy their favorite drink? Not a chance. If you love your drink, and love to have your drink while watching the game, I can't say for anyone other than myself whether or not it would enhance the game day experience, but I think it's silly to claim that it might change attendance, in even a small way.

Frankly, to be honest, this thread sounds like a bunch of spoiled, entitled kids, that think they should always get what they want. Ironically, probably at least some on this thread don't (and wouldn't) buy drinks, but they see this as one more social injustice, another crusade to join.
