I'd seen that she wasn't getting good grades on earlier report cards and threatened her with being grounded most of the summer. Apparently her biggest problem is not turning in assignments. We met regularly and discussed goals, and she told me her grades were coming up because she'd talked to her teachers. But this wasn't the case. My wife says that grounding isn't a fair punishment because we're moving soon and our daughter won't see her friends anymore. What do I do?
