and never had an official interview. I looked at her portfolio, I had her come to the office, gave her a couple tasks/tests and she crushed them in about 3 hours. I will never hire another person again without going through what you just laid out. It's proven to at least find capable people. I'm still trying to find ways to form loyalty and giving someone more money has proven to be insignificant and almost demotivating...
