Yep, heard the exact same thing. Dating can be very distracting..cant blame him
And I think it's no coincidence that he eventually lost his starting position to Riley Nelson, who was not nearly as talented, but worked like crazy alongside his teammates. I know he got a bad rap, but Riley Nelson's teammates loved him. He was willing to put in the time and effort, whereas Heaps' head was elsewhere
