practice two weeks before the BYU game, you really think he's going to physically be ready? That's a sports hernia surgery, which means he can't run in the mean time. You really think the coaches are going to plug him in? Not likely. He'll most likely be ready about a week or so after the BYU game, just in time for conference play. So again, Hansen is 1, you also lost Hatfield (2), Porter (3), Williams (4), Thomas (5), Allen (6), Byrd 97), and Fogal (he played and had experience at Utah, but isn't there anymore). So that's your top 8 most experienced guys that are gone. So the ones that are left are either transfers with no experience at all at Utah, or returning with very little experience.

Boobie Hobbs is the only one with any real experience at Utah, and even then, he only has 11 career tackles at Utah. Yeah, I'm sure BYU's receivers are shaking in their boots at that dominant performance. Blackmon has two total tackles (so scary), Burgess has 1 tackle in his career at Utah, and Afia has zero tackles in his career.

Now let's compare those guys with who BYU has in our secondary:
Micah Hannean- 3 star recruit with 75 total tackles in his time at BYU plus 3 interceptions. Dayan (Lake) Ghanwoloku- 4 star recruit with 48 career tackles and 3 interceptions. Troy Warner- 4 star recruit with 21 tackles as a true freshman. Chris Wilcox with 9 tackles. Michael Shelton- 3 star recruit with 30 tackles and 1 interception. Mcchesney with 7 tackles. Hadley with 49 career tackles. Zayne Anderson- 3 star recruit with 14 tackles. Kamel Greene- 4 tackles (clocked at a 4.48 40). Tanner Jacobson- recorded 47 tackles his freshman season at Texas Tech and now at BYU had 8 tackles last year. Incoming freshmen Chaz Ah You- 4 star recruit, and Deangelo Gunter who was recruited by USC and Washington.

You would really take anyone of those Utah db's over Troy Warner, Dayan Ghanwoloku, Micah Simon, or Chaz AhYou? Hahahahaha! A senior (Hobbs) who has only amassed 11 tackles, over the young, yet very talented and experienced guys BYU has? Hahahahahahaha! Seriously, that's funny that you wouldn't want any of the BYU guys.
