Understood completely. But as a Gamecock fan, you'd understand
teams cycle. Talent comes and goes every year. This isn't the first or even the second year Utah has played BYU with substantial turnover in the secondary. But it's now been years, maybe even a decade since BYU has had a definitive edge against UU's secondary.

This is why BYU has struggled so much to get in the end zone.

I don't see that magically changing here. It's not that Utah won't make mistakes; they'll make plenty. BYU doesn't have the big play makers to make Utah pay for it. It's the old 2012 game in repeat.BYU WRs will hit their routes. They'll move the chains. But all it takes is 1 sack or a couple of incompletions to kill a drive.

What hurts BYU the most is that their run game will have no advantage over Utah's front 6. The only way BYU can win is in the air. Utah will plan for that -- as they always do.
