I hope I can be forgiven for assuming you meant that we are making $20m more than we would be in G5, since in your original post you said "we are making ~$20M more" without specifying what it was more than.

As for being selective in my stats, it's not like I cherry-picked dates. I gave our winning percentage for the entire time of our membership in the WAC (1962-1998), MWC (1999-2010), and independent (2011-2017).

I bet the whole country is about a .600 average over that time.

I'm no statistician, but I think that's mathematically impossible.

Point is: our long-term success (winning percentage) is pretty much the same as an independent as it was in the MWC. In fact it hasn't changed much since 1962 when we first joined the WAC. In other words, conference membership doesn't correlate with more wins.
