I love the big games, but frankly we don't have the talent and depth to compete
with such a brutal schedule. Currently, Sagarin has us as the 16th toughest schedule so far this year, and of the 15 teams with tougher schedules (all P5 programs), only 3 are above .500 on the season (Michigan St., USC, and Cal).
As much as I love the big games, we need to improve our recruiting if we want to be competitive against such a schedule. Otherwise we can expect more losing as the years go on.
