Setting aside his personal life, I really appreciated Coach Wintrich's philosophies on maximizing explosion and flexibility to increase speed and minimize injuries. I thought overall BYU stayed relatively healthy his one year in 2015, and BYU won a lot of games in the 4th quarter by just wearing teams down.
Seems like injuries have been more of an issue these past 2 years again. All I hear about is Kalani wanting the guys to get bigger and stronger and lifting everyday, which sounds nice on the surface, but my understanding is it's pretty well established now that traditional Olympic lifts are not the best way to get players in "football shape" and can help propagate injury.
