1. Our addiction to being "QB U" has hurt us. There is nothing unique about a passing offense. We can't recruit the best quarterbacks to BYU under today's circumstances.
2. The Triple Option is a viable offense. Like our offense of the 1990's, it is able to use players (smaller, highly disciplined) we can recruit. Throw in some Polynesian toughness and BYU could make some noise. Coach N was a serious loss.
3. BYU fans need to accept the fact that perfect seasons are not in our future. We are a midmajor, and should join a conference which gives us significant exposure (AAC) and allow us to play across the country. It would definitely boost our basketball program.
