BYU should build a system around the talent that we see consistently in our recruiting base. Spread offenses rely on more speed and skill players. BYU has traditionally struggled to get and keep those guys. BYU has always been able to get TEs and Fullbacks and big backs along with huge o lines. That calls for an offense based on power running and ball control. It just so happens that Stanford and Wisconsin are the systems best suited to feature that type of personnel.
