Detmer was fired because the offense was bad. Design and execution were poor. Bad play calls can often be overcome by good execution. Good play calls won’t work with bad execution.

In defense of Detmer, Clark was the only guy on his staff that had any experience. Detmer needed a staff with experience. He should have know that. Kalani should have known that. Holmoe should have known that.
