RE: I don't think I've ever hidden the fact

The problem is that you made some false claims. You claimed that the average student would get kicked out of school for this, and that is not true. Just like Harvey most people would have a good chance at coming back assuming they took the appropriate steps.

You can believe what you want about Te'o, but the fact is he was on really thin ice for quite awhile, people who had some insight into the program knew he likely would not last long. And he was quickly kicked off the team once Bronco found out he lied to him. And even though you claim otherwise Bronco has kicked players off the team plenty of times without a players screwup becoming public.

You claim to not like Bronco's spiritual approach, and while part of me could do without it I realize why he is taking that approach and why it is important. Maybe if you took off your red goggles you would see it to, or maybe go read about some of BYU's non LDS recruits like Josh Quezada and Collin Keoshian how important Bronco's spiritual approach was to them, they love that spirituality is so important to the football program and it's one of the reasons why they chose BYU. And let me point out that I am not even an active member of the church and I understand why Bronco is taking the spiritual approach, it baffles me how an active NDFL person can't see it.

And you said you want the church to get rid of the BYU athletics program, and you claim you are active LDS. So answer me this question, do you realize how many people have been converted because of BYU athletic programs? I am not talking about it being used as a missionary tool even though it has been used as one by missionaries before, I am talking about how many athletes have been coverted while at BYU who likely not would have been converted otherwise.

So you want to get rid of BYU athletics and rob future people the chance they would have had to be converted? Let's face it if Tom Holmoe never came to BYU he likely would not have been converted, same with Ty Detmer, Curtis Brown, Jamal Willis and many others.

Can you at least admit that you being a fan of Utah has an effect on your ability to look at Bronco, BYU in a logical way? Will you even respond to my post?
