Bottom line is your Wrong and a Ute fan

A wolf in sheep's clothing so to speak... You think like all Ute fans I've heard and spoken to regarding this issue with Unga. Which to me speaks of what seems to be the general feeling of most Ute fans which IMO is this: Though maybe not admitted they hate the fact that BYU has a standard sitting there. They don't like it and will do anything to discredit it.

It seems to me that the majority of Ute fans are convinced that Unga will be given special treatment because he is on the football team, which is ridiculous, his being able to play football will be determined first by his bishop and possibly stake president, then the school admin itself before Bronco can review the decision and make a determination. All of this will be done first and foremost by the spirit and Unga's level of remorse and true repentance. To say anything else is to say you do not feel any of these people including church leaders will honor their preisthood and truly go by the spirit and do the right thing, it questions the integrity of the church and all it stands for which I have issue with, and you say your LDS and do not understand or believe this yourself ? Harvey will not be given special treatment, all things will be considered and all involved will make the right decision. Comparing Unga's situation to others is ludicrous because there are so many different factors involved it is not black and white and not the same for all and usually mainly depends on the persons level of true repentance.

When you criticize BYU you are criticizing YOUR church owned and operated school, and it's values, is it perfect no, but is it trying to get there ? Yes... I hear Ute fans criticize BYU for being holier than thou and not living up to it's own standards.. Are there some who do this Yes, does it mean the whole school does ? No, are some self riteous ? yes, but the majority are not that way, and the church nor byu has ever said all must be perfect, but they do require repentance when a mistake is made and teach that we should all try to improve, learn from our mistakes and get better, and I love the fact that our LDS church has a school that holds to these values and provides that atmosphere for our kids to go to college. I love BYU for what it stands for. Why do I never hear LDS Ute fans criticizing their own fans ? The ones that drink beer, throw beer, have blow up dolls, blaspheme the prophet at games, throw F bombs and say derogatory things against the church ? Yet will look for any little thing they can to discredit their own church owned school ? Anyway, quite questioning the integrity of church leaders, the right things will be done for Unga, and if it is determined that he can get back in school in good standing and play football it will be because he is worthy not because he was given special treatment by bishops, stake presidents and BYU admin, coaches etc. Go cougs !
