but it's hard to get rid of that stigma, even if you have "no hard feelings".
Imagine you had seriously applied for three great jobs and only got an offer for your third choice. You might be disappointed at first, but maybe things work out great with the third job.
You may not intend to, but I think people will always (maybe subconsciously) retain a little disdain for the two companies that turned them down.
