That's fine. I don't care so much about rings.
They are a consideration, but hardly the most important. Way too many variables going on in a team sport to equate rings to individual talent.

Can't wait for people to rip you about your PG opinion.

I wanted to put Jimmer at the top, I just couldn't

C has to be either Wilt, Kareem, or Russell. I liked Olajuwon, but the other 3

Statistically I can't argue with you on center
kimdaddy35
5/18/15 10:15pm
Wilt, Kareem and Russell.

Karl is the top dog at PF Tim is close but still falls 10954 pts short.
MrF
5/18/15 10:26pm
I think Timmy would take the 5 championships over the points
kimdaddy35
5/18/15 10:28pm
Then you should have Robert Horry as your top PF with 7 rings.
MrF
5/18/15 10:38pm
since when is the game about one stat?
southernfriedcougar
5/18/15 11:51pm
I'd put Malone at PF and Wilt at Center
Josef K
5/18/15 10:31pm
Fairly funny on Malone. Duncan didn't play against the Jordan led Bulls, but he
kimdaddy35
5/18/15 10:41pm
Nah. I absolutely cannot stand the Jazz.
Josef K
5/18/15 10:44pm
Good for you, I like a guy with an original non-biased opinion.
kimdaddy35
5/18/15 10:46pm
yet Malone beats Duncan in almost every statistical category.
MrF
5/18/15 10:51pm
Duncan held his own in statistical categories and when you consider his hardware
bagman
5/18/15 11:47pm
Malone was a true PF. Duncan was more a center.
Josef K

But that is all a moot point because
Cougarmus Prime

Not really,

Anyone who says it was a wash on defense has no idea what they are speaking

FWIW
Cougarmus Prime
5/20/15 12:59am
Too much bias.
bagman
5/20/15 2:48am
It's totally unfair to say Duncan was a better defender b/c he had more blocks.
Josef K
5/20/15 8:54am
eyeball test tells me Duncan was 2x the defender as Karl.
thebruce
5/20/15 10:31am
As a pure powerforward - I might choose Malone. As a PF in a team concept - I

Go back and watch a 40 year old Karl malone man handle Tim Duncan
MrF
5/20/15 9:28pm
Lol you are making crap up.
thebruce
5/20/15 9:58pm
It is hard for me to have conversations with posters who just make stuff up
kimdaddy35
5/21/15 12:41am
lol I looked up the stats too but didn't think mrF deserved the details.
thebruce
5/21/15 12:51am
All of the highlights are on youtube here is an example.
MrF
5/21/15 12:55am
LOL I was right.
thebruce
5/21/15 12:57am
And Timmy's stats for that game
MrF
5/21/15 1:34am
You are a clown.
thebruce
5/21/15 8:04am
Funny how they doubled Duncan every time when Malone was on him
kimdaddy35
5/21/15 1:21am
And it was working too, having a 40 year old man with a bum knee push
MrF
5/21/15 1:46am
That's fine. I don't care so much about rings.
Josef K
5/18/15 10:55pm
Wait, you say

You are right, he made the finals as the 4th best player on the

Cougarmus Prime
5/19/15 4:10pm
In just about every method you use he was the #4 guy on that team
kimdaddy35
5/19/15 4:21pm
In the postseason Karl was the best player on the Lakers for a few games
thebruce
5/19/15 4:23pm
So you admit he was the 4th best player?
kimdaddy35
5/19/15 4:40pm
I think he was the 3rd best player when fully healthy. Absolutely.
thebruce
5/19/15 4:56pm
The stats don't tell the whole story.
thebruce
5/19/15 4:58pm
The stats tell a completely different story
kimdaddy35
5/19/15 11:50pm
he was playing injured during the season
thebruce
5/20/15 8:23am
So does that make him a better player?
kimdaddy35
5/20/15 12:06pm
well ok, I see what you are saying...We are just defining it in different ways.

Bird is like Stockton ...
MormonDevil
5/18/15 11:19pm
No way would I take KD over Bird. Bird was a more complete player.
Josef K
5/18/15 11:25pm
And only Jordan was a greater competitor
mikeynolikey
5/18/15 11:31pm
KD over bird? wut.

Bird was incredible, his advanced stats match up fairly well to Lebron's

Josef K

Those are also reasons why Magic is in that discussion.

There you go again. Timmy isn't a PF.

Backcourt: I'll put LBJ at point, Kobe at the 2, MJ at 3.
Undefeated

Kobe and MJ would kill eachother. That team would suck.
thebruce
5/19/15 1:21am
they would be guarding each other even on the same team
