As for the substance of your post, I don't disagree that UCL championships alone are not a sufficient gauge of relative league strength. This is why I also listed UCL finalists and Europa league titles. If you want we can expand to include semifinalists in both tournaments, which jointly cover the teams in the top third of the best leagues. We could further use UEFA coefficients or Elo ratings or whatever. They will all tell the same story: the EPL does not dominate Europe, and generally ranks second behind La Liga on the field by most metrics.
I recall having very similar conversations about the supposed coming EPL dominance with US EPL fans 10 or 15 years ago, especially the one year when 2 EPL teams met in the UCL final. Of course, it never materialized. I don't expect it will this time, either.
