OK, we can agree to disagree. But this feels like deja vu — let's plan to
circle back in, say, 5 years, and see if things turn out any differently than they did the last few times US EPL fans prophesied EPL dominance in Europe because of the league's financial prowess. My guess is that they won't.
And it's interesting how I never have these discussions with my British friends, who have generally been humbled enough by the long history of English under-performance in Europe and on the world stage to not make these types of assertions or predictions.
