I’m not sure how FFP is supposed to address a team like City having state businesses pay sponsorships that far outweigh the value they get in return. It seems unfair, but the internal club finances are fine as long as the long term salary commitments are covered by long term sponsorship deals.

I don't think it is good for competition, but I’m not sure what the solution is under the current rules when City isn’t about to go bankrupt. Not that I’ve personally read the rules.
