they have the best pilots, including the Army's and Coast Guard helicopter pilots. There are great pilots everywhere. Probably the Navy's Top Gun grads have as good a claim as anyone to being the best.

Why would flying off an aircraft carrier make them less of a pilot? If anything it takes more skill.
