I do t have enough characters to really get into why agnostics like Neil don’t like religion when it get mixed with politics but the truth is he’s not anti Christian as long as it stays in its lane and doesn’t try to explain the cosmos or define science. As members of the church we’re is a wonderful position of having a doctrine and theology expansive enough to include and welcome the agnostics of the world and talk with them about science. He’s not mocking us. Don’t try and emulate fundamentalist ideology. It’s a good move politically right now but a reason many of my friends on the far right are leaving the church. Dang it! I fell into the trap! Ok, roast away . . .
