I watched an interview he and another guy did recently about climate models.
Evidently the models were off by about 1/4 of a degree for last year, which is huge when they are trying to predict warming on the order of a few hundredths of a degree. The measured temperature was higher than predicted. You would think, to someone who supposedly believes climate change is the greatest threat to mankind that this would be quite alarming, the measured change being 10X greater than predicted. Neils comment was "at least they were off in the right direction." No concern that the climate models were wildly inaccurate. No concern that the earth was supposedly warming an order of magnitude faster than predicted. His only concern was that their obvious abject lack of ability to predict the weather could still be spun to keep the threat of climate change alive.

edit: I got the quote wrong. It was "No, no, you, you failed, but still in the right direction." Followed by laughter from all 3 supposed concerned experts. I particularly loved the amusement they all got at the "This is our lives at stake here." comment a few seconds later. It really helps you understand the danger these experts think we are facing.
