Is there 1% terror? I’m always curious how often things get hairy
Obviously outside the freak failures/about to crash times which I assume might happen once a career of at all
Curious to hear how often a commercial pilot has something that gets his/her heart racing

So is being a lawyer not fun and exciting? Do you guys not enjoy big trials?

Airline pilot. The job is 99% boring and 1% complete terror. They don't live a glamorous lifestyle and party at each

Seniority still has it advantages. Those long haul captains still get paid very well and have pretty good benefits.

My dad became an airline pilot after retiring from the military. I can only assume it’s because he still wanted to fly

Nah. It's a pretty good job. Many times even fun. I don't dread going to work. I've never been terrified while there.
