No. I have never been terrified. I have been an airline pilot since 2001.
The closest I ever got was having to shut down an engine because of a mechanical issue. It happened shortly after take off. We turned around and landed.
The adrenaline gets going in that situation but it wasn't terrifying. There isn't a pilot out there that hasn't ran through that same scenario countless times in the simulator. It went exactly how we had been trained for it.
