as a coach of the rival’s team during a period of time when the rivalry was most toxic. And it’s not like Bronco left Sitake with a loaded program.
It would be so easy for Sitake to disregard everything Bronco did, or to express apathy towards him and just say he’s focused on the program and the players in the present day. But he’s a pretty classy guy even IF he celebrates with his players on the sideline.
Props to Bronco, too. He came to BYU at a tough time when the administration and board of trustees were probably keeping very close tabs on the program and the publicity and perception it generated. He did a stellar job.
