No competition is code for too early
It sucks to work at the company that defines the market, very rarely does the true leader benefit economically from a niche that needs definition. It's best to work at #2 or #3 entrants.

I'd take #4, depending on the long term equity compensation being > .5%.

3 or 4, but the 4 has to come with more potential equity.

Yeah, even if the company sold for $100 Million, 0.5% would "only" be $500K.

.5% does seem low, doesn’t it? What % would you do?

Probably 3.

#4 isn't enough equity if you are the first employee who isn't a founder. I'd want more. If they get any investment

What % do you think is fair?

It should accumulate. Maybe 1-2% per year.

One more thing. #4 is only 3-4 months old but already has funding to sustain

Offer 2.

Offer #1. The public stock will happen, the others are a question.

I think this one. Lots of stuff up in the air right now economically

#4 but I would counter less pay. 165k but at least 5% equity.

If you're taking offer 4, you need a lot more equity because you're going to be

My company did. Unfortunately we're in the "aging" part of the life cycle now.

Those all sound like way too much work. I'd take half that pay, put in my 40 hours and go home to my family with a

re #1, 3 steps below director is individual contributor in my world

Yeah it’s weird. Veritical structure. I didn’t specify but the others are

It seems insane to be 3 levels below director at that salary.

Offer 4 sounds like most upside. Offer 3 the most flexible.
