Questions for all my non-Polynesian brothers
I just left a Polynesian sports message board where they are again debating which Polynesian race produces better athletes (the debate is mostly between Samoans and Tongans). It's meaningless to hear each biased side argue their points.

So, out of sheer curiosity and not to start a heated debate on this forum, I pose a few questions to all the non-Polys on the board.

1-What is your perspective on Samoan, Tongan, and Hawaiian athletes (especially football players)?

2-Do you guys know which ones (NFL, college football, recruits,...)are Tongan, Samoan, or Hawaiian?

3-Do you actually think that either race produces better athletes?

4-Would you prefer to have athletes from one group over the other(s)on the Ys roster?

5-Do you just lump them all (Hawaiians, Tongans, and Samoans) into one group ("Polynesians") and say that they are the same people regardless?

6-Do you know which players on BYU's roster are Samoan, Tongan, or Hawaiian?

7-Or, do you simply not care (I'm assuming most of you will identify with this)?

o you feel that this post is appropriate in this forum?

9- And finally, will you ignore this post alltogether because you think it's stupid?

It would be good to hear non-Poly perspectives on the matter. Feel free to respond as you will. Thanks.
