1-What is your perspective on Samoan, Tongan, and Hawaiian athletes (especially football players)?
In general, they all seem to have great size, speed, and a lot of heart. I love their presence on the team, as they seem to bring a real family atmosphere (I've never seen people with so many cousins!) and I love their great emotion.
2-Do you guys know which ones (NFL, college football, recruits,...)are Tongan, Samoan, or Hawaiian?
I have to admit, I could not tell you which ones are which
3-Do you actually think that either race produces better athletes?
nope - at least, I don't know
4-Would you prefer to have athletes from one group over the other(s)on the Ys roster?
love 'em all!
5-Do you just lump them all (Hawaiians, Tongans, and Samoans) into one group ("Polynesians") and say that they are the same people regardless?
I realize that they are different, and come from different cultures, but I suppose that most of don't know what those difference are, and thus you here the word 'Polys' used alot for all of the different islanders
6-Do you know which players on BYU's roster are Samoan, Tongan, or Hawaiian?
I wish I did, but I don't
7-Or, do you simply not care (I'm assuming most of you will identify with this)?
we probably should
o you feel that this post is appropriate in this forum?
sure, the Polynesian players are BYU have been a HUGE part of the program and its success over the years. I think it is totally valid
9- And finally, will you ignore this post all together because you think it's stupid?
I just want to know where to get the best Pig in Utah County!
