Was it a 730 scheduled start time?

We usually have patients come 60-90 minutes before the scheduled start time. This gives them time to get you ready for surgery. With a 17 month old they probably could have had you come in a little later because they usually don't start IVs on kids in preop. There is never an excuse to treat someone rudely though.

6:45 start. Anesthesia was oral so no need for an IV

The oral was just premedication. He'd still undergo a general anesthetic using gases and a mask.
