That is somewhat immaterial. He was an OC on stacked LSU team, which he does
deserve credit for.

But since then, he has only gone down. After LSU then he went to Maryland for 1 year as an OC, then to Canada for the CFL as an OC, then to Southern Utah as the OC, then a consultant (what the...?) at Oregon State, and now Stephen F. Austin as the OC.

Not the career trajectory that spells success. His HC gigs were LaTech in the 90s and BYU, from there on out just OC with very little progression.
