I wonder if that's why certain players, like Hine, didn't seem to develop well
under Bronco. But there may have been many other factors too for a guy like Hine. If the OP's assessment of Bronco's coaching method is accurate, it may also explain why it took so long for Ansah to learn the system and take until midway thru his sr season to see significant playing time.
That said, it is obvious that some players fit into some systems/coaching styles better than others. But I personally love Kalani's style and it would fit me best if I were a player. I really hope it translates into wins on the field.
