I kid you not--last week there was woman on the plane with a pit bull--pretty good sized, too (I overheard her tell someone the dog weighed 60 lbs). But don't worry--she had a choke collar on it, so everyone was safe.

Fortunately, it was not a full flight and she got a whole row to herself (I'm guessing whoever had a ticket in that row moved to an empty seat elsewhere). The dog really didn't fit at her feet, so it was very good that she had the extra room for it.

How many comfort animals have to wear choke collars?
