but the powers that be seem to think that job training is the goal of the B school, but the other departments don't think that way. Many great B schools don't offer undergrad business degrees, they offer MBAs to large numbers because there is a much better ROI than for undergrad. However, the econ departments at a lot of those same schools are world class. I know from my BYU-Grad B school experience the Econ undergrads were some of the sharpest kids in the school.
