Hoge does qualify for a medical hardship waiver, but it's a moot point since he doesn't qualify for a 6th-year waiver. He could get this year back, but they won't even bother applying since doing so would force this year to count as his redshirt year and at the end of the day, he's a RS Junior next season either way.
